Arrived in Asheville! Left Charleston around 830 am. Stopped a few times. It was exceptionally hot today for riding. Going to go explore Asheville!
Prior to arriving, Jon's ABS Brake failure light came on his motorcycle on the way here. He removed and cleaned the front sensor at a gas station by Ridgeville but that was not it. It's the rear one, when we get to Maine we will work on it. His brakes work just fine too so the warning light is just a warning at this point.
Last night we ate at salsas Mexican Caribbean cuisine, very good. We went to the Thirsty Monk, great bar with tons of Belgium beers downstairs.
While sleeping in the night I was awakened many times by drunk people. The couple next to us, Mike and Diane (I only know this from their loud screaming), were drunk and he was mad at her because he thought she left him and locked him out of their room. Somewhere in their screaming the realization came about that having a kid did NOT fix their problems (by Diane not Mike).
Few other random drunks too. Not a great night of sleep. Oh we'll, going out to breakfast then a farm tour and a 100 mile ride to blowing rock, NC for the night.
